Raising money for charity is one of the main objectives of the LPGA and its tournaments. Since the LPGA started tracking charitable contributions in 1981, the cumulative charitable donations from the LPGA and its tournaments has totaled nearly $200 million.
In addition to the charity work done by events, LPGA Tour players also contribute their time and their talents throughout the year to support many worthwhile causes. Beyond the Rainbow Foundation hosted the fourth annual Aloha Team Classic October 18 - 21, bringing together visitors, part time residents and Maui locals for a fun filled four day golf event. Jeanne Cho-Hunicke, Anna Grzebien, Angela Jerman and Kim Welch spent the week in Maui supporting the Foundation by participating in many of the activities.
