General Information: Entry Fee: $5000 (both sectionals) $4000 (one sectional)
An entry fee for one Qualifying Tournament or both Sectional Qualifying Tournaments shall be paid by each applicant. The entry fee must be submitted in the form of a Cashier's Check made payable to the Ladies Professional Golf Association. (No personal checks accepted)
Top 30 and ties from each sectional advance to the final stage December 2-6, 2009 at
LPGA International,Daytona Beach, FL(Champions/Legends courses) for 90-holes of competition. No additional fee required.
In 2010 LPGA members must comply with the new groove regulation.
Purpose of Competition To determine those who will be offered Tournament Division Membership in the Ladies Professional Golf Association with priority status for the 2010 season. The top 20 qualifiers will receive priority status in Category #11. The top 20 players will alternate with players 81-100 on the 2009 LPGA Official Money List. In addition, qualifiers finishing in position #21-30 will receive priority status in category 16 and qualifiers in position 31-40 in category #20.

About LPGA Tour Qualifying |
Schedule |
Each year, the LPGA Tour holds two sectional qualifying events and one Final Qualifying Tournament.
Who qualifies: The top 30 players and ties from the each of sectional qualifiers will advance to the final stage. The Duramed FUTURES Tour receives 10 exemptions into the Final Qualifying Tournament based on the year end money list.

LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament - 90 holes Dec 2-6, 2009 LPGA International Daytona Beach, FL
Information on the LPGA's Final Qualifying Tournament: The LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament is a 90-hole, five-day event, taking place on both the Legends and Champions courses at LPGA International. The first 72 holes are played on both courses, while players play the Champion course during the final round. The cut, historically held after 54 holes, will now reduce the field to the low 70 players and ties after 72 holes. |
