LPGA National Education Program Series

For over 50 years, the LPGA has developed and enhanced golf education for teachers and coaches of the game. The role of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) as a leader in the golf industry for teaching and coaching development is reflected in the LPGA National Education Program Series (NEP), the most comprehensive and dynamic teacher education series in the industry.

The LPGA Education and Research Advisory Board has expanded the LPGA NEP Series to include coaching and managerial leadership education.  With these additions, the LPGA NEP Series now offers three specialty educational tracks:
As in the original NEP Series, the LPGA Education Research and Advisory Board utilizes research-based theory that has identified the core competencies required to be an effective teacher, coach, and golf facility manager, and incorporates interactive practical applications of these competencies to the golf industry in the program content.

Youth Initiatives

The LPGA T&CP Membership has been a pioneer in developing golf programs that focus on learning and playing the game of golf as a vehicle for developing positive self-esteem and life skills in children. Programs to advance interest in golf among today's youth (ages 7-17) include the Ronald McDonald House Charities® LPGA Tour Junior Clinic Program and The LPGA Foundation program LPGA-USGA Girls Golf which are supported by both the LPGA Tour and LPGA T&CP Membership.

The LPGA T&CP Membership also has been instrumental in assisting the World Golf Foundation's First Tee initiative in developing the national curriculum for First Tee chapters that are being established throughout the United States.

Women's Initiatives
Established in 1991, the LPGA Golf Clinics for Women are held in more than 15 cities nationwide. LPGA T&CP members provide personalized golf instruction and lessons on etiquette. Participants in this clinic series have the opportunity to socialize with other women golfers in each day-long clinic, as well as learn to utilize the golf course to cultivate business relationships.
