Mi Hyun Kim has been one of the LPGA Tour's most consistent performers since
she joined the tour in 1999, finishing in the top 25 on the LPGA Official Money List every season. In her first season, Kim won the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year Award on the strength of two wins and 12 top-10 finishes. Kim has continued her consistent play this year with her eighth career win coming in a playoff against Juli Inkster at the SemGroup Championship Presented by John Q. Hammons. After her win she donated $100,000 of her winner's paycheck to the United Way Greensburg Disaster Fund to aid the victims of the tornado that destroyed the Kansas town that same week. Kim, who has more than $1 million in season earnings for the second consecutive season, has notched a total of seven top-10 finishes this season including two runner-ups at the Samsung World Championship and the LPGA Corning Classic. She also finished third at the HSBC Women's World Match Play Championship and at the Wegmans LPGA.
