South Korean Inbee Park captured the U.S. Women's Open, the third major championship of the 2008 LPGA Tour season, moving a qualifying spot from the second half LPGA Playoffs 2008 to the ADT Points list. Park already secured her spot in the season-ending ADT Championship via the first half ADT Points list.

With her best finish on Tour since early 2006, Helen Alfredsson has a strong lead on the second half ADT Points list with 372,262 ADT Points. In-Kyung Kim is in second place on the list with 171,626 ADT Points, followed by Angela Park (162,487 ADT Points), Cristie Kerr (143,981 ADT Points) and Giulia Sergas (126,250 ADT Points). The top-11 players on the second half ADT Points list following the Lorena Ochoa Invitational Presented by Banamex and Corona will qualify for the ADT Championship.
