On Tuesday, Commissioner Bivens and players Katherine Hull, Il Mi Chung and Jeanne Cho-Hunicke joined the Mayor of Springfield for a special event at Contact Ministries, an agency committed to providing rental and utility assistance, counseling and advocacy, food, clothing, prescription, and other assistance to those in need in the greater Springfield area. Last year, the LPGA State Farm Classic’s contribution to the agency funded the addition of three more rooms. With construction recently finished, the LPGA was on hand to celebrate the opening with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting.
