Suzann Pettersen Opens Her Bag

Suzann Pettersen, of Norway, broke a winless streak of 44 events, with her five-stroke victory at the CN Canadian Women's Open over five other players. With the win, Pettersen (65-68-66-70=269, -15) not only crossed the $1 million mark in season earnings ($1,294,810) and is now second on the LPGA Official Money List, but is also 30th on the LPGA Career Earnings List with $5,230,651. Players tying for second at 10-under-par 274 were Angela Stanford (70-65-69-70); Momoko Ueda (67-72-70-65) – a career-low finish; Morgan Pressel (71-71-66-66); Ai Miyazato (69-69-69-67) and Karrie Webb (69-68-68-69).

"This feels absolutely great. I've been playing very good since 2007," said the six-time LPGA Tour winner who has carded 19 top-10 finishes, including six runner-up finishes since the end of 2007, when she won five times. "Gave myself a lot of chances to win tournaments, and like I've been saying, if you put yourself in position often enough, you'll figure out how to close the deal."
