- In 2009, Angela Stanford won the season-opening SBS Open at Turtle Bay, where she crossed the $4 million mark in career earnings and
recorded a season-low 65 in the opening round.
- Tied for second at the CN Canadian Women's Open, where she carded a
season-low 65 in the second round.
- At the P&G Beauty NW Arkansas Championship presented by John Q. Hammons, Stanford lost a three-way (with Sun Young Yoo) sudden-death playoff to Jiyai Shin but earned $143,063 to cross the
$1 million milestone in season earnings for the second year in a row.
- Added eight additional top-10 finishes.
- Qualified for
her third U.S. Solheim Cup Team, posting a 1-2-1 record for the victorious U.S. Team
- Led the Tour lead in eagles with 13.
