More than a dozen LPGA players gathered for a KOLON-LPGA Golf Outing at the Wegmans LPGA in Rochester, N.Y. 100 students from John Williams School #5 participated. Eunjung Yi wins the 25th Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic Presented by Kroger, to become the season's third Rolex First-Time Winner. Yi, a 21-year-old out of South Korea, finished the week at 18-under-par 266 (68-66-61-71), and beat out runner-up Morgan Pressel (64-68-67-67=266, -18) in a one-hole, sudden-death playoff. WEGMANS LPGA
Jiyai Shin is the champion once again, this time at the Wegmans LPGA. The 2009 LPGA Tour rookie turned in a 1-under-par 71 in the final round, which was enough to take the win with an overall mark of 17-under-par 271, seven strokes ahead of Kristy McPherson and Yani Tseng, who both finished at 10-under-par.
