Real-Time Scoring

Cristie Kerr, a founder and spokesperson for Birdies for Breast Cancer, has partnered up with PLAY FOR P.I.N.K. (prevention, immediate diagnosis, new technology, knowledge), a grassroots charitable organization dedicated to raising funds to fight and promote awareness of breast cancer through lifestyle and sporting events and a partner of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Kerr's inspiration stems from a personal encounter with breast cancer. In 2003, her mother, Linda Kerr, was diagnosed with the disease. Fortunately, her mother's case was detected and treated early and she has made a full recovery. Pledges can be made for every birdie Cristie makes on Tour. All monies raised by PLAY FOR P.I.N.K. go directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Since 1996, Play for P.I.N.K. has donated over $6.3 million to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

On April 20, Cristie Kerr was a special guest at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation's (BCRF) Red Hot Pink Party Spring Gala held at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City. Kerr hobnobbed with the likes of Donald and Melania Trump, Elizabeth Hurley, Evelyn Lauder, Sir Elton John, Starr Jones, and Estee Lauder models Carolyn Murphy and Liya Kedebe. The evening was topped off with Kerr serving as a live auction item for a round of golf for two, which went for $30,000. Kerr is a spokesperson for the BCRF through her Birdies for Breast Cancer program. Earlier this year, she presented a check for $50,000 to the BCRF.
