The Manulife Financial LPGA Classic, which put out a call for volunteers on Monday of last week, needed only 30 hours to fill about 1,200 available positions. Residents still interested in volunteering for the $1.3-million tournament can put their names on a waiting list at www.manulifeclassic.ca, but there are no guarantees that additional positions will be created.
