Several players from this year’s Symetra Tour graduating class were on-site at the CME Group Titleholders getting a first-hand glimpse to life on the LPGA Tour.

For the second time in three years, the winner of the Vare Trophy and the earnings title was not the Rolex Player of the Year on the LPGA. Inbee Park captured the Vare Trophy (70.21 stroke average) and the earnings titles ($2,287,080) in the last event, the CME Group Titleholders, while Stacy Lewis accumulated the most points to win the Player of the Year honor.

To say that Lizette Salas stumbled upon the game of golf as an accident wouldn’t be farfetched. Salas’s father, Ramon Salas, has been working at Azusa Greens golf course for over 30 years and when her brother disliked the game, Lizette picked up right where he left off.

For Yani Tseng, it’s been quite an interesting 2012 season – one full of many ups and downs.
