LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Team Championship
Final Results

Thirty-three teams competed in three flights at the inaugural LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Team Championship being conducted at the Cassique Course at Kiawah Island Club in Kiawah Island, South Carolina.

Sisters Kate and Annie Collom from Davidson, NC, won the Championship (Bell-McIntire) Flight with consistent scores of 66-66=132. Mary Janiga of Wellington, FL, and Ariana Saenz of Porter, TX, (68-71=139) came in second.

The team of Danica Swaggerty and Kennedy Anne Noe from Knoxville, TN captured the title in the LaBauve flight (named after LPGSA-USGA Girls Golf founder, Sandy LaBauve) with scores of 74-69=143. Jamie Hubbard of Hardeeville, SC, and Kathryn Thorne of Bluffton, SC, (75-70=145) took second place.

The 9-hole Morgan Pressel flight was won by Caroline Rea of Pinehurst, NC, and Jaclyn Kenzel from Southern Pines, NC (33-30=63). Grace Knadler of Phoenix, AZ, and Allyssa Lonergan of Scottsdale, AZ, (36-31=67) placed second.

All girls competing in this event are current members of an LPGA-USGA Girls Golf site. LPGA Hall of Fame member, Beth Daniel, presented the trophies to the winning teams.
