Angela Oh - Rookie Blog Two

I am excited that the season has started, even though I will not be able to play in a few tournaments. So far, I am looking forward to the Corona Championship in Mexico. I just want to start competing already :)

Nothing too exciting happened since my last rookie blog. I have been practicing and training physically as well as mentally, down in South Carolina. Traveling south helped a lot since I was able to play on a good golf course that did not have ice and snow on the greens. It's just too cold up north.

My mother is doing well also. She has finished her chemotherapy and is currently going through radiation, which should last two-three more weeks. I understand the hardship that she is going through and I can't do much more besides make her as happy and comfortable as possible. I feel for all the families that have or are going through the same situation.

My family can't wait until she is done with her therapy, though. We want to make her happier, healthier, and stronger from therapy. My mom can't wait to travel to one of my tournaments this year - she'll probably be the loudest one cheering!
