Two months have passed since the season has started, and I am enjoying my new life on the LPGA Tour! I am working on my English by communicating with my caddie, my coach and some of the other players. I think I'm getting better every day.
I was very happy to have the opportunity of playing in the Honda LPGA Thailand and the HSBC Women's Championship. I would like to share my appreciation with the sponsors who have given me such a wonderful chance. The result was not what I expected, but I truly enjoyed the challenge and would like to come back and challenge again.
Here are some of the off-course shots from my experience in Thailand. I went to see an elephant which, I believe, is a symbol of Thailand. The elephant was very big, but had gentle eyes and was very cute. I had a ride on its back, but the height was much higher than I thought. That was thrilling!
My goal at the moment is try to qualify for the Kraft Nabisco Championship. I have played the Dina Shore course three times ('07 & '08 Kraft Nabisco Championship and '08 LPGA Q-school 1st stage) and really love the course. I also like the atmosphere of the Kraft Nabisco Championship and would like to challenge again this year. I will try my best to play well in both the MasterCard Classic Honoring Alejo Peralta Presented by Nextel and the J Golf Phoenix LPGA International Presented by Mirassou Winery to qualify for the Kraft Nabisco Championship.
