LPGA players kicked off tournament week at the Sybase Classic Presented by ShopRite with some fun

May 14, 2009 - Wednesday presented an opportunity for players to have a little fun before the start of competition. For the second year in a row, global cosmetic guru and TODAY show beauty editor Bobbi Brown offered a master beauty class for players at her studio in Montclair, N.J. Bobbi, a huge fan of the LPGA, recruited eight of her top makeup artists to offer one-on-one consultations with players. Bobbi also addressed the players as a group, emphasizing the importance of sun safety, while offering advice on transforming from golf to glam.

Players including Paula Creamer, Morgan Pressel, Nicole Castrale, Laura Diaz, Vicky Hurst, ShanShan Feng, Juli Inkster and Pat Hurst sat down for makeovers while media hovered over them in search of coveted before-and-after shots! Media in attendance included ESPN, ESPN the Magazine, Allure magazine, Teen.com TV, Live It Up! morning show out of NYC, Golf Champion magazine, as well as a number of popular blogs and websites. Players were greeted with an eager camera lens everywhere they turned.

With the start of competition today, the cameras will return for more action. Today's rainy forecast will at least be a little forgiving when it comes to sunscreen and makeup!
