Angela Oh - Rookie Blog Four

Let me tell you - MONDAY QUALIFIERS ARE TOUGH! I've been playing in some qualifiers and it is not easy. Traveling to different states and not being able to confirm that you are in the field for that week's event is costly. It takes a lot out of you mentally, too. So, I just decided to stay home and practice every day until the Futures events come around the Northeast area.

I just competed in the USI Championship event on the Futures Tour and played well. But we had soooo much rain that week. My first-ound tee time was pushed back to 6:00 p.m.! My group only got in 9 holes that day, which meant a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start the next morning, followed by another 18 holes for round two.

For those who have been asking, my mom is doing great. Some of you may have seen her out on the course following me! Thanks for asking! :)
