Inbee Park, 2008 U.S. Women's Open Champion, made an appearance at a LPGA-USGA Girls Golf event at Pleasanton Golf Center in Pleasanton, CA. Inbee spent several hours demonstrating shots, helping the girls with their short game technique, signing autographs and posing for photographs. Earlier this year, Inbee donated $50,000 to LPGA-USGA Girls Golf, in support of Girls Golf Day 2009, and to help provide golf equipment to girls in need.
The Pleasanton Golf Center hosts a large LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program - close to 200 girls participate each year - run by LPGA T&CP Class A Professional Dana Dormann. To find a Girls Golf site close to you, visit LPGA-USGA Girls Golf.
