The LPGA Road Trip Driven by Monaco RV/Alliance Coach made a stop at the Caring Hands Ministry, a project of the First Baptist Church in Wildwood, Florida, Tuesday. LPGA Tour player Meredith Duncan toured the facility and helped volunteers distribute clothing and food packages to those in need. Duncan, who is known on the LPGA Tour for her kind, good-natured personality and sense of humor, spent the day visiting with families and sharing holiday smiles with the children. Caring Hands Ministry provides food and clothing to families needing assistance the second and fourth Tuesday of every month.
Duncan, who also spent time behind the wheel of the state-of-the-art RV, will join the LPGA Road Trip for its final stop at the season-ending LPGA Tour Championship next week. Duncan will compete in the 120-player field which includes the top nine players in the Rolex Rankings.
