Do you enjoy taking part in photo shoots?
I LOVE doing photo shoots! I love getting my hair and makeup done professionally, I learn a few new tricks. And what girl doesn't love to get all dressed up? Typically, all I wear are golf and workout clothes, so to have a day to dress up is so much fun!
How did you prepare?
I normally try and stay away from salt and load up on water so my skin doesn't look puffy. Also spray tan is a must, got to rid those golfer tan lines.
Did you do your own styling? Clothes. Hair. Make Up?
All the clothes from the shoot are mine. I love fashion and I'm always reading magazines to get ideas on what would look great this season and what looks good on my body. The hair was done at Lola Ricci in Atlanta. Gayle York was the makeup artist and she was the best makeup artist I've ever had!
Who came up with the poses?
We kind of were just having fun on the set. I had a few things in mind that I had seen in magazines. But we just went with the flow and came up with poses.
Are you comfortable in that setting?
The first time I did a photo shoot, I was so so nervous! I was super stiff couldn't relax until the last few shots and they ended up being the best pictures. This time around I felt so much more comfortable and confident. Anna Rawson gave me a few tips that she uses when she does shoots, so I used them this time.
What's the best part about doing a photo shoot like this?
The best part is getting to act like someone else. I'm an athlete, not a model so to pretend to be sexy and get pampered for the day is pretty great.
What is your partnership with SouthernLINC Wireless like?
I was fortunate enough to play in a pro-am last year at the Navistar LPGA Classic with Michael Smith of SouthernLINC Wireless and we had a blast! He had told me they were looking for a local player to sponsor for the Alabama events the next year. Since I graduated from Auburn, I was their girl. They are such a wonderful company and I have enjoyed so much being chosen to represent them in the Bell Micro LPGA Classic and Navistar LPGA Classic.
