Hey Everyone!
My name is Alison Walshe, obviously a rookie on the LPGA, however it is my second year as a pro. I started out last year on the Duramed FUTURES Tour and "graduated" to receive LPGA membership!! I can't say how lucky and thankful I am that this is what I call my job... Here's to a great 2010 season :)
So a little about myself... I am originally from Ireland but moved to the U.S. when I was little. I grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts, in a small town called Westford. I played college golf and graduated from the University of Arizona (BEAR DOWN!!!) and now here I am touring the country and world, living my dream! This year is going to be interesting for me because I have LPGA, Ladies European Tour, and Duramed FUTURES Tour status. So, needless to say, I will be juggling a bit and definitely getting my frequent flyer miles in. I have already been to New Zealand, Australia, and Mexico...and currently write this blog from a tournament stop in Florida - ha! Next week I will finally have a break and get to go home for a week :)
