Gwladys Nocera - Rookie Blog Two

We passed the middle of the season and I haven't spent much time writing about my golf experiences on the LPGA. To make it short, I would say that I love it and want more of it! The LPGA knows how to take care of the players - the courses are all great, the fields are strong every week, and I just love playing with the best of the best!

I had some good finishes that gave me good confidence to go back to Europe and play the big events there.

The Evian Masters Presented by Societe Generale was a great experience - even if the weekend was hard on me. I love playing in France, and playing with an invite made things different this year.

Evian is a magical place, and I was very proud to be part of the event.

The RICOH Women's British Open is THE tournament for me. I love it and had some great memories from the 2005 British, so I was very excited to get there and play. I finished tied 17th which was good.

After that, I decided to play the AIB Ladies Irish Open. It was played on the 2011 Solheim Cup course. It was nice to be able to play that course, and I shot 6-under on the last round. It's always good to have that kind of memories!!!

It's nice to be back in Europe for a few weeks. I get to spend time with my friends (that I miss a lot while in the U.S.) and get to support the LET.

This week, I'm playing in Wales, then off to Portland and Canada. This will be quite a long stretch, but golf is what I love, so I enjoy the fact that I can play and travel so much!

More news after Canada!!
