LPGA Commissioner Mike Whan hosted marketing, corporate and media executives at an electric sponsor summit at the Hard Rock Café in New York City Wednesday night. Whan spoke to the guests about the LPGA business and core values of the organization, encouraging prospective sponsors to get involved with the LPGA. Terry Lefton from Sports Business Journal conducted a one-on-one interview with the Commissioner who then fielded questions from the packed crowd. LPGA players Cristie Kerr, Morgan Pressel, Jimin Kang and Amanda Blumenherst also took center stage in a panel discussion led by Golf Channel commentator and LPGA player Val Skinner.
