Hey everyone!
What a wonderful Sunday evening to be working on my rookie blog! It's about 100 degrees here in Arizona and I'm sure glad I'm indoors now. Yikes.
Well besides wishing the weather would cool down, I've just been practicing a bit and getting my workout on with my trainer - nothing too exciting during my off weeks. Oh, but I did go to a Diamondbacks game, which was fun. We played the Rockies and it was a good game! And I love stadium food, so that's always a plus. I do wish I could be playing in tournaments, but that just isn't my schedule this year. I know a lot of girls played in some Duramed FUTURES Tour events and some Cactus Tour events during their off weeks, and I should have done that so I can stay competitive during my many off weeks. But I've learned, and so I will be sure to plan out a better schedule for next year! I have been trying to play more on the course instead of just hitting golf balls all day every day. Getting out on the course and beating my boyfriend and his buddies is way more fun :).
Anywho, the season is winding down for me, but I'm definitely looking to make a move the next few tournaments! Especially since I want to beat Ai Miyazato get into the Korean event. That would be awesome and so much fun. I'm heading down to Alabama for the Navistar LPGA Classic next Sunday, so I'm pumped for that. Gotta love that southern cooking! Then after that I'll be going to my home territory (sorta) in northern California! I'm really looking forward to the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge because my family and hopefully some friends will be out to watch me! I'll write more about that when the time comes, but that is it for now! Thanks for reading everyone!
