PERFORMANCE SPOTLIGHT: MORGAN PRESSEL
Morgan Pressel made the cut at the LPGA Championship Presented by Wegmans on the number at 4-over-par and used the weekend to improve her standing… all the way to a tie for seventh, her best major finish since a tie for sixth at the 2008 McDonald’s LPGA Championship. She carded the low-round of the day on Saturday with a 4-under-par 68 and followed it up with a 3-under-par 69 during the final round.
This makes for Pressel's fourth top-10 finish this season in 11 starts.
