Rolex Rankings No. 6 and two-time LPGA winner Anna Nordqvist, LPGA tour winner M.J. Hur and sponsor exemption Alexis Thompson stepped Outside the Ropes on Thursday to visit the AtlantiCare Center for Childbirth. The players learned about some of the new technology available to mothers and babies at the state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit. The players also presented one new mother at AtlantiCare’s Center for Childbirth with a gift of new baby clothes and her new little girl’s future LPGA Tour Card. Money raised by the ShopRite LPGA Classic benefits AtlantiCare’s nursery and neonatal intensive care unit. ShopRite has donated more than $22 million to area charities through its sponsorship of LPGA events.
