Hello from the UK!! I am in Wales at the moment for the Ladies European Tour Wales Championship. I am actually over here in Europe for a long haul. I was in Ireland last week for the AIB Ladies Irish Open which was amazing. I got to visit some family, tour Europe, and play a great venue. The event was held at Killeen Castle, which is the site of next year's Solheim Cup, and it's definitely going to be a great course for the event :)
Let's see - since I last wrote, I've played in the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic Presented by Kroger, and the U.S. Women's Open at Oakmont. Oakmont was unreal...by far the fastest greens I have played in my life. It was a really great experience. I also played two Duramed FUTURES Tour events close to home in CT and NH before taking off for Europe. I'm really excited about my upcoming weeks. This week I am in Wales, to be followed by Finland, Austria, France, and Spain - a long list of events! It's great though - I am enjoying the opportunity of traveling Europe, meeting some new competitors, and playing great golf courses. I do hope to get into some LPGA events soon, though, because home is where the heart is, and it would be nice to get back on American soil at some point.
Other than that, I have no news. I hope to write back with some good stories from my travels in Europe!
Cheers :)
