Meet LPGA Futures Tour Graduate Hanna Kang

LPGA Futures Tour member Hanna Kang of Seoul, South Korea, finished No. 8 in season earnings at $32,992.

Kang had a great year in 2011. In 15 starts, she recorded six top-10 finishes and three top-five finishes. She is tied for seventh for most eagles this season.

Here’s what Kang has to say about her 2011 Futures Tour seasons and she shares a little about herself:

LPGA: How would you describe your 2011 season on the LPGA Futures Tour?
KANG: There was much pressure, also I enjoyed a lot.

LPGA: How do you feel about earning your LPGA card for 2012?
KANG: I'm really excited and worried.

LPGA: Are you planning on attending LPGA Qualifying Tournament – Final Stage and how are you preparing?
KANG: Yes, I'm mostly practicing on iron shot's accuracy.

LPGA: Have you set any goals yet for the LPGA Tour?
KANG: I want to keep my LPGA card for 2013.

LPGA: What are your plans for the off-season?
KANG: I will go to Korea to see my family and take some break.

LPGA: What did you learn most about your game this season?
KANG: I learned how to enjoy golf and put my greed down.

LPGA: When the top-10 Futures Tour players earn their cards, they get giant replicas of their LPGA Tour card. Do you still have your big card?
KANG:Yes, I do have it.

LPGA: We know you can play golf, do you have any other hidden talents?
KANG: I like to play guitar and piano.
