It seems like a lifetime ago that I was at Q-School in Daytona Beach, and yet it's only been six weeks! The start of a new season always makes me feel good - a chance to start fresh from the previous year - and this year being a rookie on the LPGA should be interesting! Of course I would have loved a full card with the chance to play more events, but actually just being able to join the Tour is great. I can officially say I'm an LPGA player! It's going to be quite strange being a rookie again and learning the procedures that are different in America than they are in Europe. Travel plans and even the way you enter and withdraw from events is all different, so hopefully I will learn my lessons quickly and settle down.
Right now I'm fortunate enough to be in Australia and New Zealand playing the on the LET. What a great part of the world this is! I think I would say New Zealand is probably the most beautiful country I have ever been to, and for me, being from Wales, it reminds me of home with all the open land, the laid-back life style, and thousands of sheep everywhere!
Well, let's hope its not too long before I can make my official debut as an LPGA rookie. I'm desperate to make an impact and I really feel the courses in the states should suit my game, so it would be nice to get a chance soon!
