Sunice was named the official waterproof rainwear licensee for the 2011 and 2013 U.S. Solheim Cup Teams. They took their commitment one step forward when they named a piece of their women's collection after U.S. Solheim Cup Captain Rosie Jones. Here is the story behind the name.
In the Sunice men's line they have a jacket which encompasses all the latest in technology and features and benefits - basically the pinnacle of their collection. They called this jacket the ultimate.
As Sunice does best they have a ladies collection that is equally as technologically advanced and as large a collection as the men's which really makes them unique in the outerwear market. As such they also needed an ultimate jacket for women but felt the name had to be more representative of a ladies piece. Meeting with Captain Rosie Jones last year about The Solheim Cup uniforms and hearing her speak about her passion for the game inspired Sunice and it seemed a natural choice to ask her if they could lend her name to this jacket. Rosie being the leader of the Solheim Cup Team for the USA and being a champion on her own right was exactly what they were looking for in naming this jacket.
