Most of our fans see us practicing and playing the game we love for a living. Behind the scenes, there are so many other responsibilities we face off the course. Many of us act as our own travel agents, booking flights, rental cars, hotels, and making arrangements to be away from home for more than half the year. Throw in international travel and 20 to 30 pro-ams, and our schedules become quite hectic.

The biggest challenge I faced this season was to manage a new dynamic which I hadn't had before...hiring a caddie. Every player/caddie relationship is different and it can be hard to find the right match. There are so many great ones out there, but every player has to find the one who makes them feel comfortable on the course. We put a lot of trust in our caddies, and a good relationship can make all the difference in the world.

As I look back on my first season, it seems like a bit of a whirlwind and I can't believe it is coming to an end. I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to compete for a living, but now realize we are so much more than golfers. We are travel agents, business women, sales people, and entertainers...and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Best,
Danah Bordner
