Check-in with Rookie Carlota Ciganda

Now that their rookie season is under their belts and they have had a chance to reflect on the year, LPGA.com caught up with several rookies for a quick Q&A. This week we catch up with Carlota Ciganda to see what she thought about her rookie year.

Use one word to describe your rookie year.
Fun.

What did you learn about yourself and your game this year?
That you need to be very patient. I learned that you can score without playing your best game.

Did you set goals and if so did you accomplish them?
I have a few tournaments left on the European Tour, but I am happy with my year :)

What was your favorite part about this year as a rookie?
Meeting new people and traveling to different places.

What piece of advice would you give to next year's rookie class?
Lots of patience for the first year and try to enjoy because it is a great experience! I love it:)

What are some travel tips now that you are a seasoned traveler?
Try to fly during the day and avoid very early or late flights if you can!

How will you spend your off-season?
I will be spending time with family and friends at home in Spain.
