Another season has come to an end and with that LPGA.com caught up with several players to get their thoughts on their season, plans for the off-season and if they'll be putting down the clubs and truly take some time off. This week we check in with Pernilla Lindberg to see what she has to say about 2012 and what she'll be doing to prepare for next year.
Describe your 2012 season using only one word?
How would you compare this season to seasons in the past?
Better, more consistent and more confident.
What part of your game have you been the happiest with this season?
How well did you meet the goals you set for yourself?
I reached some and came up short on some...
You've been traveling off and on for about 10 months now, what are you most excited about at home?
Getting in to a good routine of eating healthy and working out. Always hard to do on the road.
How will you spend your off-season?
Going to Sweden for three weeks over Christmas and New Years and then back to Orlando to start practicing again.
How long will you put down your clubs?
For three weeks.
Heading into the off-season do you have anything specific you want to work on with your game?
I will be working on a few things in my swing that I haven't wanted to work on during the season.
Will you have a specific exercise routine to stay fit prior to 2013?
I'll keep working hard in the gym during the off-season. My workouts are not much different from when I'm in season, but I'll increase the number of sessions.
How do you go about preparing for a new season?
I analyze the prior season and then figure out what I need to improve and set a new plan and new goals from there.
