LPGA.com caught up with Karrie Webb to discuss the Honda LPGA Thailand where she finished tied for third in 2011.
LPGA: What is the key to playing well at Siam Country Club?
Webb: I think the key to playing the Siam country Club is ball striking, especially your iron play into the greens. If your distance control and shot making is on it's set you up to shoot some good scores around there.
LPGA: How does it match with your game?
Webb: I like the challenge of hitting my irons in the right sections of the green and giving myself the best possible birdie putt.
LPGA: What are your favorite holes?
Webb: I don't have any favorites in particular but I think if you play the last five holes of the course under par you can either make a good round great or repair a round that wasn't going that well.
LPGA: What are you looking forward to this week?
I have played pretty well here in the past so hopefully looking forward to a good week on the course and see what happens come Sunday.
LPGA: What are your favorite things to do while in Thailand?
Webb: I LOVE Thai food...so I am looking forward to eating as much as I can! I also love Thai massages so at least a couple of those are in order. Also may get some clothes made at the local tailor shops.
