"A Home for A Hero" golf scramble is conducted each year by the Windermere Country Club Foundation to raise funds for American Heroes who are beginning new chapters in their lives and this year's event raised over $57,500.

One of the raffle prizes was a day of golf with Christina Kim.  Recently Kim spent a day with the lucky raffle winner and two of his guests for a round of golf on the same course that host to the 5th annual golf scramble. 

The monies raised will be put toward providing a mortgage-free home for the family of Army Corporal Jeremy Voels, who was hit by a sniper's bullet while serving in Afghanistan permanently damaging his spine.
