Company also inks deals with Folds of Honor Foundation, Navy SEAL Foundation

June 5, 2012 - VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Scooter Pines Holdings, LLC has signed an agreement to donate a portion of the sale proceeds from its next book to the LPGA Foundation. In addition, the company has signed partnership agreements with Folds of Honor Foundation and the Navy SEAL Foundation.

"As a former LPGA player, I am thrilled that our company will be working with the LPGA Foundation to help them advance their mission," said Dottie Pepper, a partner with Scooter Pines.

Earlier this year, Scooter Pines introduced the first in a planned 18-volume series featuring Bogey Ballton. Each volume in the series uses golf to teach valuable life lessons. Bogey Tees Off: A Lesson About Being Truthful was co-written by Pepper and Scott Fuller, and illustrated by Kenneth Templeton. It is the story of an ambitious range golf ball, Bogey Ballton, who is tired of his dead-end job at the practice range. His fate changes when John the Ball Washer helps Bogey to be truthful about himself and pursue his life's passion to become a pro tour golf ball.

Under its agreement with the LPGA Foundation, Scooter Pines will donate 20 percent of the sale proceeds from the second book in the series scheduled for release in March 2013 at The Founder's Cup in Scottsdale, Ariz.

"This is a wonderful opportunity to increase funding for our LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program. Every $10 we raise allows another girl to be introduced to the game of golf. We are very grateful to the Scooter Pines organization for including us in this exciting opportunity to change lives one swing at a time," said LPGA Foundation President Nancy Henderson.

In addition to working with the LPGA Foundation, the company has also recently signed partnership agreements with Folds of Honor Foundation and the Navy SEAL Foundation. Scooter Pines is creating, distributing and selling custom-designed intellectual properties related to its children's books and its "Bogey Ballton" character. The company has already developed posters that are being sold on behalf of each organization.

"Working with these types of organization continues to bring credibility and awareness to the great messages we are pushing out to kids and families through Bogey," said Robert Levin, managing partner of Scooter Pines. "We are proud to be associated with the LPGA, Folds of Honor and Navy SEAL Foundation and look forward to long, beneficial relationships."

Scooter Pines has created an advisory board, which now includes respected golf industry leaders Mary Bea Porter King and Renee Powell. For more information on the company and its products, please visit www.bogeyteesoff.com.
