Defending champion Lexi Thompson traveled to Alabama on Monday to promote the upcoming Navistar LPGA Classic. Thompson's media tour made stops throughout the Greater Montgomery area. Playing on a sponsor's exemption a year ago, Thompson became the youngest winner in LPGA Tour history at the Navistar LPGA Classic. Now 17, Thompson is a rookie on the Tour. The Navistar LPGA Classic will take place Sept. 17 through 24 at Capitol Hill's Senator Course in Prattville, Alabama, part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.
