Evian Masters 2012
Great week in Evian!
Can’t tell you how happy I am to be back in Europe and I have really enjoyed playing the Evian Masters this week in France. It is one of my favorite tournaments and it is great to come “home” and play in front of some family and friends! I took two weeks off following the US Open because I needed to recharge my batteries and get a break from golf, so it was a bit tough to dust the rust off in the beginning in France, but I had my putting coach and my mental coach on sight and we did a lot of work together! It is great to see progress over time, hard work pay off and get new things to improve on.
I managed to finish strong my last 3 rounds to get 7th place, and my best finish in Evian and I left with a lot more experience and motivation to work even harder. I am excited I get to go back to Sweden again for a couple of days before playing in Toledo, Ohio next. It is hard not to spend time in the couch watching the Olympics and getting inspired to make the team in 2016. I will keep my fingers crossed for the Swedish athletes and I look forward to watch everyone compete this week!
Enjoy the summer and GO SWEDEN!
