A year’s worth of hard work will pay off this week for players landing inside the top-10 on the season-ending Volvik Race for the Card standings. This year marks the second time in history on the Road to the LPGA will award the top-10 players in the Volvik Race for the Card 10 cards with equal, exempt status on the LPGA Tour for the 2014 season. With two days until the lives of those 10 players are changed forever, symetratour.com will highlight an aspect of the season-long competition as the Race enters the last leg.
No. 7 Giulia Molinaro leads the pack of players inside the top-10 as she stands in a tie for fourth after three rounds of 70s. No. 3 Cydney Clanton and No. 4 Sue Kim sit in a tie for sixth at the 5-under while No. 1 P.K. Kongkraphan jumped to a tie for 10th following a 7-under 65 during the third round.
Results for the remaining players inside the top-10 are as follows: No. 9 Alena Sharp and No. 5 Marina Alex T16 (2-under 214); No. 10 Jaclyn Sweeney T25 (Even 216); No. 6 Hannah Jun T48 (3-over 219); No. 2 Christine Song T54 (4-over 220). The only player in the top-10 to miss the cut was No. 8 Olivia Jordan-Higgins.
