Hello everyone. As you know, I've missed all the events post CN Canadian Women's Open this season. The condition of my elbows got worse and I decided to take the rest of my season off to recover. I must say that it was a tough decision to make as a player who loves playing on the LPGA Tour. I miss my friends on the tour, the staff and the great fans who support women's golf.
I am now back in Miyazaki, Japan my home town and resting my elbows. It is a good environment to be in staying with my family and friends back home.
This week there is a big men's event, the Dunlop Phoenix Tournament held in Miyazaki. As many of you know, there are many great past champions such as Tiger Woods, Padraig Harrington, Ian Poulter, Thomas Bjorn, David Duval, Shingo Katayama, Lee Westwood, Jumbo Ozaki, Tom Watson, Ernie Els and so on! This year, Vijay Singh is playing and I am planning to go out and watch.
Next week, there is going to be a JLPGA major tournament, the JLPGA Tour Championship Ricoh Cup in Miyazaki. The final money leader on the JLPGA Tour will be decided after this final event.
I really miss golf but at the same time, I know I must come back with a healthy body and be able to compete again. Hope everyone will still remember me and looking forward to seeing you on Tour next year!
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
