Mika Miyazato - Rookie Blog Two

My first professional tournament was in Hawaii. I was very nervous the first day on the first tee, but after I teed off I was fine. My coach from IMG academy in Florida traveled to Hawaii with me and caddied for me. He was a little bit nervous also. I was excited to make the cut and also have my parents come from Okinawa, Japan to watch me play. After the tournament, I went Tokyo for a week to practice and relax.

Next, I flew to Thailand for the Honda LPGA Thailand. I loved the course and was very excited to have a sixth-place finish. After Thailand, I went to Okinawa for a few days to visit my family, my best friends, and my dog Hime (Queen).

I can't wait to get back on Tour at the Corona Championship in Mexico.

I'll let you know what happens in my travels and tournaments.

See you.
