Pro golfers and celebrities hit the links for charity golf tournament

Callaway Golf Foundation's Annual Pro-Celebrity Tournament Benefiting the Entertainment Industry Foundation's Cancer Research Programs

February 2, 2009, Riviera Country Club, Los Angeles - Leta Lindley and Vicky Hurst hit the links for the Callaway Golf Foundation Challenge, a pro-celebrity charity golf tournament benefiting the cancer research initiatives of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF). This significant fundraising event paired leading professional golfers with celebrated actors, chief business leaders and entertainment industry executives for a round of golf in a "Modified Best Ball" tournament format. The tournament participants joined forces to raise more than $2 million for the cause. During the event, amateur golfers had an opportunity to work on their technique at the Johnny Miller Skills Clinic. Other professional golfers that participated include: Johnny Miller, Gary Player, Roger Cleveland, Nicholas Thompson, Stuart Appleby, Notah Begay III, Fredrik Jacobsen, and Mark Brooks. They were joined by an impressive list of celebrities including: Mark Wahlberg, Ray Romano, Gabriel Aubry, George Lopez, Tim Allen, Joe Pesci, Kevin Nealon, Peter Gallagher, Oliver Hudson, Josh Kelley, Don Cheadle, Jack Wagner, Patrick Warburton, Tom Dreesen, Andy Richter, Flex Alexander, Johnny Mathis, CS Lee, Joe Mantegna, and Kevin Sorbo.
