Well, I wrote my last post on my way to Hawaii for the first tournament of the year. I didn't play as well as I would have liked, but I still finished inside the top 20, which is a pretty solid start to the year. I just didn't really make very many putts and struggled in the wind the last day. But the good thing is I've had the last few weeks to work on a few things.
One thing I wanted to tell everyone about and be on the look out for is a Public Service Announcement I just finished filming. The PSA is for the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS). I was diagnosed with scoliosis at age 11. I wore a back brace and also had to have surgery, so this is something that I am really passionate about. I want to try to reach out to as many people as possible and raise awareness about scoliosis. Scoliosis affects over 12 million people worldwide. I hope I can be an inspiration to other kids and parents that are affected with scoliosis. I could talk forever about this, but please be on the look-out for the PSA! Also please visit SRS.org to learn more.
I start playing again this week in Mexico, then I'm off to Phoenix, then to the first major of the year. Wish me luck, and I will check back in after the Kraft!
