Ai Miyazato's thoughts on leading the LPGA Tour in top-10 finishes.
“I've done really well to focus on the shot that I'm about to face. In the past, I had a tendency to go into the future and still do sometimes today. But now I can stay focused more on the present. I also feel that I have my own style of playing golf now. I'm not affected by other players and feel confident about how I play golf.”

To help you achieve more top-10 finishes, LPGA T&CP member Marjorie Jones has provided this tip about Balance.
As a golf professional and student of the game, I have learned that balance is the key to good golf. Balance, physically, mentally and emotionally is essential to the preparation and the execution of consistent golf swings. Since everyone is different, learning how to be balanced while getting ready to swing and making the swing is going to vary greatly among individuals.
Here are a few ways to work on balance:
- Use great posture.
- Practice balancing on one leg.
- Do practice swings while standing on top of balance disks. They look like flattened out balls.
- Swing back and forth in place over and over again.
- Take deep breaths.
- Be decisive with your shot.
Every one of these LPGA players had to have great balance to become the leaders they are.
Improve your balance. Improve your game.
