Money milestones for LPGA members

Top American Cristie Kerr's tie for third at the U.S. Women's Open netted her $183,568 and she is now second on the LPGA Tour Official Money list with $1,040,959 this season behind rookie Jiyai Shin ($1,077,451). It is Kerr's seventh top-15 finish in a U.S. Women's Open and sixth year she has surpassed the $1 million mark in season earnings. She is also quickly nearing the $10 million mark in career earnings ($9,979,875) and is sixth on the LPGA Tour's Career Earnings List.

Other career milestones include South Carolina native Kristy McPherson's tie for 34th (71-74-77-73=295, +11), which was worth $20,702 and pushed her over the $1 million mark in career earnings ($1,019,967). Kyeong Bae (75-73-69-72=289, +5) tied for ninth, earned $76,711 and has now accumulated $1,009,358 since joining the LPGA Tour in 2006.
