LPGA Tour and World Golf Halls of Fame member Juli Inkster has accepted a sponsor's exemption to play in the elite 20-player field at the Samsung World Championship, Sept. 17-20, at Torrey Pines Golf Club in La Jolla, Calif. Inkster, a veteran of 16 Samsung World Championships, has won the event three times (1997-98, 2000) and finished in the top-10 11 times. This week, she will play in her eighth Solheim Cup as part of the U.S. Team.
