Rolex Rankings move of the week: Yani Tseng

With a resounding victory at the Wegmans LPGA Championship, Yani Tseng's already commanding lead in the Rolex Rankings was extended to 257.67 points over No. 2 Cristie Kerr. Tseng's 19-under-par total tied the record for lowest 72-hole score in an LPGA major. There have been three additional players to reach 19-under par in a major championship: Dottie Pepper at the 1999 Kraft Nabisco Championship, Karen Stupples at the 2004 Weetabix Women's British Open and Kerr last year at the Wegmans LPGA Championship.

At 22 years, 5 months, 3 days Tseng became the youngest person to win her fourth major. Tseng's previous LPGA major victories came at the 2008 LPGA Championship, 2010 Kraft Nabisco Championship and the 2010 RICOH Women's British Open. For Tseng, it was her eighth career victory on the LPGA Tour and half of those wins have been majors.

Other notables making a move this week in the Rolex Rankings were Morgan Pressel and Paula Creamer. Pressel notched a runner-up finish at the Wegmans LPGA Championship and leaped five positions in the Rolex Rankings to No. 12. With a tie for third finish at the Wegmans LPGA Championship, Creamer moved from Rolex Rankings No. 11 into the top 10 at No. 8.
