Day one at The Mojo 6 consists of three six-hole matches for each player. Each hole won is worth one point and each match victory is worth one bonus point for a maximum of seven points per match. One half point will be awarded to each player if a hole is halved.
After each set of matches, players are ranked by points and the top-8 get to choose their next opponent. To break a tie, the Rolex Rankings as of the end of the 2009 LPGA Tour season will be used. At the end of Day One the top-8 points' earners will move on to Day Two for single elimination matches.
Players can't pick the same player from Tuesday nights pairings party.
