Miyazato also maintains her lead in the Rolex Player of the Year race with major champions Kerr and Yani Tseng on her heels. Jiyai Shin – who became the first South Korean to top the season-ending money list in 2009 – overtook Miyazato on the 2010 LPGA Official Money List with her tie for second on Sunday.
Miyazato is the only player in the Rolex Rankings averaging more than 11 points (11.25), while Kerr (10.84), Pettersen (10.55) and Shin (10.46) all are clustered tightly behind her. Tseng remains at No. 5 (9.49) while Na Yeon Choi has put herself into the thick of the Race for No. 1 as well, now averaging 9.31 points.
The biggest surge in the Rolex Rankings top 10 came from CN Canadian Women’s Open winner Michelle Wie, who climbed five spots to No. 7 in the rankings.
The LPGA resumes play at the P&G NW Arkansas Championship Presented by Walmart at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas the week of September 6.
