2011 Tour Winners Commit to Play at ShopRite LPGA Classic

Galloway, NJ (April 19, 2011) - The competition at the ShopRite LPGA Classic just got tougher with the announcement that 2011 LPGA tour winners Yani Tseng, the current Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings No. 1, Sandra Gal and Stacy Lewis have committed to play. They will join Karrie Webb, the previously-announced Hall of Fame member and a two-time winner on tour this year. Play starts in five weeks on the historic Bay Course at Seaview - A Dolce Resort, which is now owned by nearby Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. The tournament runs from May 30 - June 5 and will feature 150 of the world's best professional women golfers.
Tour play started this past February and all the tournament champions to-date plan to be at the ShopRite LPGA Classic. Championship results are: Yani Tseng, Honda LPGA Thailand, Feb. 17-20; Karrie Webb, HSBC Women's Champions, Singapore, Feb. 24-27 and RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup, Phoenix, AZ, March 18-20; Sandra Gal, Kia Classic, City of Industry, CA, March 24-27; and Stacy Lewis, Kraft Nabisco Championship, Rancho Mirage, CA, March 31-April 3.
